Taxes
Whether you are on a local contract or on assignment and have or have not got income in another country for (part of) the year you will want to make sure you do not have to pay tax double. Generally any country where you work more than 183 days will consider you are liable for local taxes.

To avoid double taxation there many countries have tax-treaties to avoid these, we have not found a site that neatly lists and cross references them all so below a listing of what we have found. Since not everything is on the net and a treaty should be reciprocal you can either check for your home or your host country below and if you cannot find them (have somebody) check with the tax office wherever you are.
